Are you a frontline services professional linked to health and wellbeing, housing, the justice system, or other support services?

Do you sometimes work with military veterans or their family members or loved ones?

We want to learn from different frontline services professionals from across the UK, so we can:

  • Better understand the barriers, challenges, and opportunities linked to the help-seeking of veterans and their family/ loved ones – from different frontline perspectives.
  • Better understand the barriers, challenges and opportunities facing different frontline service professionals, especially when working with veterans and family members/loved ones.

How to get involved?

There are a few different ways to get involved:

  • Express your interest in joining a stakeholder roundtable with a selection of other frontline professionals. Depending on interest and your availability we may arrange several roundtable dates.
  • Express your interest in being interviewed. We will be in touch with further details once we reach that stage of our research programme.

Fill in the form below and we will be in touch shortly. Thank you for your interest.

I’d like to register interest in joining the stakeholder roundtable, so I can hear more about being part of the change.

Why are we doing it?

Bringing together frontline service professionals with different experiences is part of our broader work to better understanding help-seeking journeys for veterans and their families/ loved ones.

As we move through our programme, we will run co-productive and co-creative research sessions with veterans and family members. And there will also be opportunities for frontline professionals to be interviewed to share more in-depth thoughts about barriers, challenges, and opportunities to improve help-seeking.

Longer term we are looking to use all our different learnings to evolve how we approach help-seeking, and our engagement with different stakeholders.

What's involved?

We'll bring together frontline professionals with different experiences in a virtual discussion.

This will last no more than 50mins.

These are likely to be held in May with options around dates and times.

Once you've signed up, we'll be in touch.

We’d love to hear from you whether or not you’ve ever referred anyone to Help For Heroes, or to other specific military veteran support services.

You don’t need to work in a specialist veteran support service.
