GET YOUR HIKING BOOTS ON FOR AN ADVENTURE IN THE YORKSHIRE DALES

If you're looking for a unique hiking challenge that combines breathtaking scenery with an energising, fun-filled experience, then you won't want to miss our upcoming hike in the heart of Yorkshire!

The Yorkshire Dales offer some of the most stunning scenery in the UK. The area is especially known for its spectacular rolling hills and deep valleys, making it a perfect hiking destination.

About the hike

  • The hike's circular 25 km route will begin and end in the town of Sedbergh, taking an estimated 7-9 hours. 
  • The ascent on this trek will be approximately 1080 metres.
  • The Yorkshire Dales Heroes Hike is a challenge suited to everyone, whether you're an experienced hiker or a first-timer. 
  • Our expert guides will be on hand to offer support every step of the way.

This challenge is bespoke to Help for Heroes and is organised and managed by our event provider, RAW Adventures.

Registration is open to anyone aged 12 and over.

FUNDRAISING AND REGISTRATION

The registration fee for all participants is £49 per person.

The fundraising target that we ask each participant to raise is £200. Please note you don't have to meet this target before the event. You can continue to collect donations afterwards. 

The Events Team are always on hand to support you through your fundraising. You can find some handy Fundraising Tools on our website.
