In this moving video, Tempy Pattinson, 5½, from Darlington, talks to war veteran Simon Brown, (38½!), after her wish to meet a ‘real-life’ soldier was granted by Help for Heroes.
At the heart of everything we do are the bonds between a beneficiary and a supporter. Facing it Together was a celebration of those bonds.
Supporters, fundraisers, volunteers and members of staff from all backgrounds and walks of life are part of the huge Help for Heroes family. Together, they work towards a common goal to ensure injured Veterans and their families get the specialist support they need.
