Former Rifleman, Vinod Budhathoki served with the Army’s First Royal Gurkha Rifles until December 2013. He is a double above knee amputee and lost two fingers from his right hand in an incident on Operational Tour in 2010.
Vinod started by playing sitting volleyball and hand-cycling during his recovery process in Headley Court. He competed in both of these sports at the 2014 Invictus Games. He loved target shooting when younger, he is now continuing his shooting training.
Vinod competed at the British Open Airgun Championship in January 2016 and the National Shooting Championships in June 2016.
