Charlie Dye

Charlie went from being a fully active deployable firefighter in the RAF to barely being able to walk after a surgery went wrong.

The former Corporal found himself staying at home not wanting to venture outdoors, and he became isolated from family and friends. It was his Physical Training Instructor who recommended sport as an outlet, and he registered for Team UK.

Soon, after attending training camps, Charlie found himself reverting back to his old self, and showing his children and wife the man he used to be. During the summer of 2021, Charlie has surgery on his hip so he has been focusing on his improving mobility ahead of the Invictus Games.
