The Cycle to Recovery group set off first thing this morning from Tedworth House Recovery Centre to tackle their last 400 miles.
The group arrived on Tuesday afternoon and were welcomed by Help for Heroes staff in the Tin Hut and Tedworth House where supporters cheered them in as the cycled through the gates.
After catching up on sleep in the ‘comfiest bed ever’ – the team enjoyed a much-needed rest day, where they were treated to Complementary Therapies – with Steve and Brian opting for reflexology – with Steve saying “It is exactly what I needed on my day off. It was magic, and I’m so chilled out now.”
The team will now make their way to Plymouth stopping off in Yeovil and Exeter in-between before finishing their amazing challenge in Lands’ End which will mark their 1400th mile.
Steve Craddock said “When we rode in, first at the Tin Hut – we got an amazing welcome, it was very emotional. It was great to see friends and the staff that work so hard and do a brilliant job.
Tedworth House, thank you for your kindness, we’ve had a magnificent rest, it’s been brilliant and I love this place, it’s really magic."
