Heroes' Lottery
You can win big in the Heroes Lottery while helping veterans and their families.
Support more veterans and their loved ones by donating through your pay. It’s easy to set up, and tax-free.
Each month, you will be donating before you pay any tax which makes your support go even further.
You don't need to give us your bank details or set up direct debits, it's as simple as filling out the online form. And, because your donation is taken before tax, every £1 you donate will only cost you 80p.
You can change or stop your donation at any time by contacting your payroll department.
Payroll Giving is a great and simple way to engage employees, it is a tax-free way for your staff to make a regular donation to Help for Heroes through your pay process. It's simple to set-up, can boost morale, and every payday, you'll be helping veterans and their families live well after service.
If you set up a regular payroll gift you can cancel your donation or change the amount by contacting your HR department.
Payroll Giving donations are taken directly from your gross pay (pre-tax). Gift Aid is a scheme that allows charities to claim back the basic rate tax on donations from HM Revenue & Customs.
If you are a higher rate taxpayer, Payroll Giving is the only way that a charity can automatically receive all your tax on your charitable donation.
When you leave a company, the payroll gift is automatically cancelled. Please complete this online Payroll Giving form with your new company information and let us know this is a replacement of any previous donations by selecting the relevant box.
There's no lower or upper limit.
Your first gift to Help for Heroes will be taken on the next payroll day. However, if you are signing up towards the end of the month, donations are likely to start the following payroll day.
