    • The 10 kilometre route is just over 6 miles. Depending on ability, on average takes around 1 hour 15 minutes to complete if running, or around 2 hours if walking.

    • Yes, the race location and route are wheelchair accessible. You're welcome to cheer on friends and family, or register yourself and join in the fun.

    • Running a 10k as a beginner is achievable. Committing to a regular training plan 8-12 weeks before the race will help you have the best experience on the day.

Over the 8-12 weeks you should vary the distance to gradually build up to the full 10k. Following a plan specifically for beginners can help structure your training.

    • The Heroes 10k is an accessible run that can be taken at any pace depending on your ability. Walk, run or roll the route, we'll cheer you on along the way.
