Heroes 10K at Broadlands Estate, Hampshire
13 April 2025
Run, roll or walk; the choice is yours! The Heroes 10k is an event for everyone, from beginners tackling their first distance run to friends seeking a group challenge, or experienced runners ready to push beyond their usual routes. Registration is open to anyone aged 16 or over.
The Heroes 10K is our exciting new running event – a chance to be part of something truly special while showing your support for the Armed Forces community with every step.
As a fundraising event, we encourage all participants to raise as much as possible to make a real difference. Our suggested target is £200, but why not challenge yourself to go even further? Every penny raised goes directly towards providing life-changing support for veterans and their families.
There are two events happening in 2025.
When you sign up and take part in the Heroes 10K, you'll receive:
The 10 kilometre route is just over 6 miles. Depending on ability, on average takes around 1 hour 15 minutes to complete if running, or around 2 hours if walking.
Yes, the race location and route are wheelchair accessible. You're welcome to cheer on friends and family, or register yourself and join in the fun.
Running a 10k as a beginner is achievable. Committing to a regular training plan 8-12 weeks before the race will help you have the best experience on the day.
Over the 8-12 weeks you should vary the distance to gradually build up to the full 10k. Following a plan specifically for beginners can help structure your training.
The Heroes 10k is an accessible run that can be taken at any pace depending on your ability. Walk, run or roll the route, we'll cheer you on along the way.
Here you’ll find lots of inspiration to help you put the fun in your fundraising for charity.
Walk, trek, run, cycle or jump. Set yourself a challenge in support of our heroes.
