Follow these steps to get started with your Xbox One stream. This is for streaming using Twitch.

How to Download the Twitch App on your Xbox One

  1. Navigate to the 'Store' tab in the upper-right portion of your Xbox One's home screen. From here, navigate to the bar labelled 'Search' and then press 'A' on your controller. 
  2. Type in 'Twitch' using your controller. The Twitch app will appear on your screen. Select the app and press 'A' on your controller.
  3.  Select 'Get' and press 'A' again. The Twitch app should begin installing automatically.

How to Stream on your Xbox One using the Twitch app

  1. Select the game you want to stream. Press 'A' on your controller to launch the game.
  2. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide. You can now select the Twitch app and press 'A' again to launch it.
  3. Navigate to the 'Broadcast' tab on Twitch and press 'A' on your controller. From here, you can choose a title by selecting 'Enter a title' on the left side of the screen and pressing 'A' to name your broadcast.
  4. Navigate to the 'Start Streaming' button and press 'A' on your controller. Reopen the game you have selected to play and you'll begin streaming momentarily. 

As you play, you can view some information about your stream on the bottom-right corner of your screen, including the amount of time you've been streaming and the number of viewers currently watching your stream.
