“I decided to get involved in the Recovery College because when I left the military, you lose a lot of your identity - your credibility is lessened. I was able to come forward to give my ideas and to voice, my opinions on matters I feel can make a real difference to future veterans and service leavers.
“I found the Recovery College has really benefitted me in many ways. I found it fulfilling, it’s given me that positivity, that sense of achievement and actually, I feel more credible again.
“The Recovery College has made me feel proud that I’ve been able to be involved and to make a difference to future veterans.”
