Our bodies react to stress in different ways. Stress in itself is the body's reaction to what it perceives to be a harmful situation, and much of what happens in our minds in response to it is unconscious.

While stress can creep up on us, and we may not choose to feel its symptoms, the way in which we respond to it is in our control.

The tips and tools in this workbook are ones that we work through with veterans who are experiencing symptoms of stress. It includes a simple breathing video, which takes just a few minutes and can be really effective in helping you to manage your stress levels and feel calmer and more relaxed.
