Recovery College
Our Recovery College is the first to be designed specifically for wounded veterans and their families. Each course will help you identify your ambitions and gain the confidence, knowledge and understanding necessary to achieve them.
What's happening in your community?
We offer coffee mornings, veteran hubs and veteran-led groups across the UK. These provide you with an easy way to connect with other veterans and families in your area. You can have a chat and a brew and meet your local community builder to find out more about the support, services and events you can get involved with.
Who is it for?
It's for you. No matter when, where or how long you served, we ensure there are community-based events available to every veteran who served in the British Armed Forces, either as a Regular or Reserve, and your families and carers too.
What can I expect?
A chance to connect with others who understand your background and have shared your life experiences.
You'll be able to get more active in your community and feel supported by a network of people who live locally to you. Plus, you can suggest new ideas, form your own groups and encourage others in the process.
This is a way to dip your toes back into the water and feel like part of a community again.
FEELING NERVOUS OR ANXIOUS?
It’s natural to have feelings of nervousness and anxiety before coming along, but that quickly disappears. Your local Community Builder will be there to help bring everyone together and feel at home.
