The Heroes Band in Concert

The Heroes Band is based on a military band format and was formed in London in January 2014 with the aim to raise funds for Help for Heroes through musical performances.

The Heroes Band are performing their first ever concert on Saturday 24 May 2014 at St. John’s Church, Waterloo, SE1 8TY. 

The concert will include music from Film and Stage, as well as a rousing flag waving patriotic finale of Rule Britannia and Land of Hope and Glory. In addition, come and hear the stirring music of the bagpipes with special guest Bagpiper Callum Armstrong, who appeared as the piper in the Steven Spielberg hit World War I film War Horse.

Tickets are £10 in advance, available from the website or call 020 3302 9577, they are also available on the door for £12. Free entry for under 16’s.
