Day One - Music in Flight
Music in Flight is a magical experience with the London Pro Arte Orchestra, conducted by Murray Stewart, and the fanfare trumpeters of the Prince of Wales's Division Band playing classical music, together with the Romsey Choral Society, whilst a variety of aircraft and formation teams perform breathtaking displays in the sky above, all carefully synchronised with the music.
What you hear and what you see are fused together in an unforgettable combination of elegance, emotion and sheer breathtaking spectacle.
The flying itself ranges from aerobatic teams to 'Gooseman' Christian Moullec and a solitary glider, from the fast and furious to the gentle and stylish, all performed by the best and most experienced display pilots at home and overseas.
Further excitement will be provided by the Red Devil parachute display team, hot air balloons and a spectacular firework display bringing the evening to a moving climax.
This event was formerly performed successfully at Middle Wallop, known as 'Music in the Air'. In answer to strong public appeal Ross Mallock, founder, inspiration and director of 'Music in the Air', has agreed to bring the event exclusively to the Tidworth Festival, once again delivering a very special evening that has not been performed at Middle Wallop for some years.
Day Two - Status Quo Rock Concert!
The concept is big band, big stage, lights, sound and screen ..... a big evening - very different to the timeless grace of Music in Flight. A concert performed by this legendary band is not to be missed. Status Quo usually sell out whenever they perform.
This is a standing only concert. Concludes with a spectacular firework display.
Supporting Band
