St Andrew's Day Championships
The St Andrews Day Championships offer a unique opportunity for the club golfer to
enjoy a fun competition at St Andrews- The Home of Golf and is a celebration of St
Andrew the patron saint of Scotland and of Golfers.
The Championships are an autumn or winter pairs competition run in conjunction with the Sportsman’s Charity and in 2008/9, our 9th year, we are seeking to raise funds for Help for Heroes. Participating clubs hold a St Andrews Day Foursomes competition on or around November 30th - St Andrews Day – and send their Winners to St Andrews. Open to Men’s, Ladies or Mixed teams.
We hope that whilst enjoying the camaraderie of the great game of golf - clubs will take the opportunity of the occasion to try and raise funds, however large or small, for Help for Heroes.
Your Winners - Each participating club can send the Winning Pair from their St Andrews Foursomes to the Championships in St Andrews in April 2009 comprising:

full Scottish breakfast.
- Day 1 Sunday – 18 holes Championship golf over St Andrews Links on the

Quaich with prizes for first, second and third teams. A Reception, Hickory
